IRON MAIDEN and Robinsons Brewery have announced Trooper Red ‘N’ Black — a new limited-edition beer from their award-winning Trooper range — which will be available to fans worldwide from September 2016.
Trooper Red ‘N’ Black porter is the third beer in the Trooper range following on from the stunning success of Trooper and last year’s limited-edition Trooper 666.
Bruce Dickinson said he was cracking into the great unknown when designing the beer: “I like tasting outside the box. Stouts and porters were virgin territory for me so I just went by feel.
“Martyn and I hope we have created a new take on a classic beer and one which I hope will tickle the taste buds of ale fans in a pleasantly unexpected way.”
According to Robinsons, Red 'N’ Black uses a blend of chocolate and crystal malts which help give the beer a roasted malt and caramel backbone.
Police in Seattle have released photos of the shotgun Nirvana frontman Kurt Cobain used to kill himself more than two decades ago.
Seattle police cold case Detective Mike Ciesynski is shown holding Cobain's gun at different angles in five photos posted to the police department's website Wednesday.
The photos were taken in June 2015, added to the city of Seattle's computer system March 3 and since then have been added to the investigative file, according to police.
It's unclear why they took the photos last year or why they're releasing them to the public at this time.
Kurt’s body was found in Seattle on April 8 1994. An investigation determined that a few days earlier he had gone into the greenhouse of his large home and taken a massive dose of heroin. He then shot himself with a 20-gauge shotgun. His death was ruled a suicide.
ED FORCE ONE BADLY DAMAGED ON THE GROUND IN COMODORO ARTURO MERINO BENITEZ (SANTIAGO, CHILE) AIRPORT CONCERTS IN ARGENTINA TOMORROW AND TUESDAY EXPECTED TO GO AHEAD AS PLANNED!!!
Here is the official statement from Iron Maiden's official facebook page:
Ed Force One was this morning tethered to a tow truck to be taken for refuelling prior to flying over the Andes to Cordoba for the next show. On moving the steering pin that is part of the mechanism that connects the ground tug to the aircraft seemingly fell out. On making a turn the aircraft had no steering and collided with the ground tug badly damaging the undercarriage, two of the aircrafts engines and injuring two ground tug operators, both of whom have been taken to hospital. We hope of course that they make a full and speedy recovery and we will be closely monitoring their progress. The flight engineers are on site and evaluating the damage, but their initial report is that the engines have suffered large damage and will require an extended period of maintenance and possibly two new engines.
We are currently making contingency arrangements to get to the show in Cordoba tomorrow with band, crew and equipment intact. Fortunately the 20 tons of equipment had not been loaded onto EF1 at the time of the accident. Although this is tragic for our beautiful plane we do not expect this to affect our concert schedule including the next 2 shows in Cordoba and Buenos Aires. And we hope to find a new Ed Force One to continue this adventure with us in the near future. We will keep everyone updated when we know more, so keep checking only on this site for official news.
To finish on a high note however, our visit to Chile was a huge success with 58,000 fans coming to the show as totally brilliant as ever in the Stadium Nacional last night. We love you guys!

The keyboard player’s body was discovered at his home on Thursday by, it was reported, his girlfriend. He had been scheduled to travel to Japan on tour next week.
Emerson, Lake & Palmer formed in Croydon in 1970 and came to prominence after performing at the Isle of Wight festival later that year.

Emerson was regarded as one of the best keyboard players of his generation.
In a statement, his bandmate Carl Palmer adds: "I am deeply saddened to learn of the passing of my good friend and brother-in-music, Keith Emerson.
"Keith was a gentle soul whose love for music and passion for his performance as a keyboard player will remain unmatched for many years to come. He was a pioneer and an innovator whose musical genius touched all of us in the worlds of rock, classical and jazz.
"I will always remember his warm smile, good sense of humour, compelling showmanship, and dedication to his musical craft.
"I am very lucky to have known him and to have made the music we did, together. Rest in peace, Keith."
