A couple of days ago, Led Zeppelin guitarist Jimmy Page gave a coy response to the possibility that the group might one day headline the Glastonbury Festival. Now, Zeppelin vocalist Robert Plant has once again put the kibosh on the idea, with some strong words for his former bandmate. At a press conference in Morocco where his band the Sensational Space Shifters were slated to perform, Plant was asked to comment on the topic of Page saying that he was tired of Plant “playing games” when it comes to mounting a Led Zeppelin reunion tour.
“I think he needs to go to sleep and have a good rest, and think again,” Plant said. “We have a great history together and like all brothers we have these moments where we don’t speak on the same page but that’s life.”

Plant acknowledges that his refusal to take part in a reunion tour is a matter of differing opinions between him and Page. For what it’s worth, Plant seems to be holding firm to his position as this is not the first time that he has ruled out the possibility of getting back with his old cohorts in Led Zeppelin.

Last month, speaking of the probability of a Zeppelin reunion, Plant insisted that he was “not part of a jukebox” while a month prior, Plant said there was “zero chance” of his former group performing again.

Led Zeppelin reunion talk has been heightened thanks to this week’s re-release of expanded editions of the band’s first three albums.
